Collaborative Chromatics is a study in geometry, form, and abstraction, an installation that operates at the scales of daily and seasonal time through the play of colour and light. The work contrasts the relative constancy of the office workday to the lengthening and shortening of the day outside by filtering, reflecting and refracting light through a series of chromatic modular panels. In their sculptural elevations, the bas-relief of the translucent panels casts forms of coloured light across the white drywall surfaces in gradually shifting patterns. Soft lighting in the evening to soften the presence of night within the workday experience and speak to the sometimes long working hours of a busy office.
