In the Library

LeuWebb Projects’ new photography exhibition Unpacking the Stacks is on display for the month of April at the Don Mills branch of the Toronto Public Library.

The project examines the book as a vessel of culture, language and identity and searches for the book’s place in a fluid information landscape. Take a trip to “Canada’s First Planned Community” and see Unpacking the Stacks before its gone.

TODO in 2014

LeuWebb Projects is creating a site specific, dynamic environment as part of this year’s Toronto Design Offsite Festival.

Titled ‘Just A Reflection’, the piece will be installed at the Hunt Club studio in Toronto’s Little Italy. There will be lights, there will be mirrors, there will be doors of perception thrown wide open.

Opening reception with live performance by Dirty Inputs is Thursday, January 23rd, 2014 from 7pm-10pm. Stay tuned for more details!

Dreaming Along the Pan Am Path

‘Brellies’ is a proposal by LeuWebb Projects for a series of public art pieces to animate a section along the planned Pan Am Path for Toronto’s Pan Am/Parapan Am Games 2015.

The Pan Am Path is a remarkable initiative combining the power of culture and sport to create a living path across Toronto. Working with a Toronto Local Arts Service Organization, East End Arts, we hope to further develop the design to engage the community and site in this section of the city’s inner suburbs.

Scotiabank Nuit Blanche 2013 – coming up!

LeuWebb Projects is pleased to announce that we will be participating once again in Scotiabank Nuit Blanche, this time in partnership with the Canadian Music Centre.

Our project, A Touch Of Light, explores the sensual intersection of sound and sight, and acts as a visual rendition of the live performances taking place at the Canadian Music Centre during the night of Nuit Blanche.

Tech team masterminds Jeff Lee and Omar Khan are hard at work helping put together custom hardware controllers and breaking down the coding necessary to make all of it work.
